Special Teams: Difference For Alabama In National Championship Win Against Clemson

In Nick Saban's post game interview, he stated special teams played a major factor in the win against Clemson.  The onside kick in the 3rd Quarter changed the momentum of the game and ultimately became the difference in the game. The final score was 45 to 40.

The Dashaun Watson, quarterback for the Clemson, was nothing less than amazing. Derek Henry, the Heisman trophy winner scored 3 touchdowns. Other standouts include the Tight End OJ Howard. Howard caught 5 catches for over 200 yards.

Nick Saban has won 5 national championships at Alabama. One more national championship and he ties Bear Bryant with 6 national championships. Saban has built a dynasty at Alabama and the 5 star recruits keep coming year after year. Most recruits enter the Alabama as early class enrollment, often missing high school rituals such as prom.

Congratulations to the Alabama Crimson Tide for a great closure to a great year in College Football.
