Look How Contaminated Tap Water In Flint Michigan Damaged This Child's Hair

A concerned mother posted pictures on social media describing the results of her daughter's hair after being exposed to tap water in Flint Michigan. Egyptian Queen Tramble posted these pictures and vowed to protest for the resignation of Michigan Governor Snyder. Soon, other Flint Michigan natives began to post pictures of their children that suffered similar injuries due to the contaminated water.

The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services has launched an investigation into the outbreak of Legionnaires' disease. In 2014, and 2015, Legionnaires' Disease sickened 87 people, killing 10 of them in Genesee County.

Legionnaires' disease is a respiratory bacterial infection usually spread through mist that comes from a water source. It is not transmitted from person to person. Symptoms of the disease include fever, chills, and a cough.

On January 5th, Governor Snyder declared a state of emergency for Genesee county as a result of the water crisis.  The water crisis is now under federal investigation.

It has not been confirmed if the Child in the picture is affected by Legionnaires', however, Ms Tramble stated the family physician said the water was the cause of her daughter's injuries.
