Meteorologist Prove Jesus Was Not Born In December

The first recorded date of Christmas being celebrated on December 25th was in 336 AD, during the time of the Roman Emperor Constantine (he was the first Christian Roman Emperor). A few years later, Pope Julius I officially declared that the birth of Jesus would be celebrated on the 25th December.

Jesus was not born on December 25th.

Meteorologists as well as historians and astronomers have something importance to contribute to the question of Jesus' Birthday. According to St. Luke: 'And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night' (Luke 2:8).

Meteorologists have made exact recordings of the temperature at Hebron. This spot in the southern Highlands of Judah exhibits the same climatic conditions as Bethlehem, which is not far distant. The temperature readings show a period of three months where the temp is 2.8 degrees in December, 1.6 degrees in January, and -.01 degrees in February.

Futhermore, the rainfall measures atleast 6 to 8 inches between December and January. According to Public record the climate of Palestine has not changed much in the last 2000 years therefore modern meteorological observations can be deemed a reliable source for these weather conditions.

Jesus would not have been able to survive the harsh weather conditions while laying in a manger. He would have frozen to death due to the low temperatures and rainfall in that region of the world. I'm sure the Emperor Constatine did not take this into account when he chose December 25th as Jesus birthday.
