Jaime Foxx slammed for making fun of Bruce Jenner at iHeart Awards

Actor Jamie Foxx has been criticised for making fun about Bruce Jenner's reported gender transition, while hosting the iHeartRadio Awards.

While introducing what the show would have in store, Foxx, 47, took a dig at Jenner, saying, "We've got some groundbreaking performances here, too, tonight. Bruce Jenner will be here doing some musical performances -- he's doing a his-and-her duet all by himself."

The host was called out by viewers at home, who took to Twitter to criticize his transphobic jokes, said The Hollywood Reporter.

One wrote, "Boo! Shame on you #iHeartAwards for allowing @iamjamiefoxx to be transphobic on national television! Those #BruceJenner jokes were wrong!!!"

"Jamie Foxx's transphobic jokes at the iHeartRadio about Bruce Jenner were gross, glad they didn't garner much laughs," another Twitterati said.

A viewer posted, "@iamjamiefoxx making transphobic jokes at Bruce Jenner's expense while Kylie is in the audience? Grow up & educate yourself. #iHeartAwards" Kylie is one of Bruce's daughters with reality TV star Kris Jenner.
