West Virginia mom injected feces into sick son's IV

A West Virginia mother injected feces into her son’s intravenous line as he recovered from surgery at a local hospital, according to Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters.
Deters announced Tuesday a grand jury indicted Candida “Candy” Fluty, 35, of Kermit, West Virginia on two counts of felonious assault and two counts of endangering children.
Cincinnati police arrested Fluty at Children’s Hospital Medical Center on Saturday, Jan. 17 after she “knowingly injected a substance into the victim’s peripheral IV line” in his hospital room the day before, court documents state.
Candida Fluty was ordered to stay away from her chronically-ill son after police said she injected a substance into his intravenous line at a local hospital.
Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Cheryl Grant also set $50,000 in bonds Monday  after police charged her with felonious assault and child endangering.
