NFL Defensive Tackle Linval Joseph Shot at Bar

Minnesota Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph was grazed by a bullet in a shooting at Sound Bar in downtown Minneapolis after Friday's preseason game, the team said in a statement. Minneapolis police confirmed multiple people were shot inside the bar at 400 3rd Avenue N., but all victims of the shooting are expected to survive.

Two victims were taken to HCMC with serious injuries, but they were in stable condition Saturday morning. The Vikings said Joseph was an innocent witness to the shooting. Joseph was struck in the calf by a stray bullet, and was treated and released from the hospital. He is expected to rejoin the Vikings this week.
"The entire Vikings organization is extremely thankful that Linval was not seriously hurt, and our thoughts are with all of the victims of this shooting," the Vikings said in a statement.
